Kindness Prevails: Day 52

I came across a piece from a few years ago on my Twitter, but the timing really doesn’t matter at all because it’s so relevant to my past few posts and my re occurring theme of positivity and happiness.

It’s called “Happy Thoughts: Here are the things proven to make you happier.”

The author gives a few methods and ideas on how to instantly boost your mood and poses the reminder that your happiness often spreads to others.

One of my favorite ideas in the article is that gratitude directly affects your happiness and that of those around you.

It sayss, “Bronze medalists are happier than silver medalists. Why? They feel grateful to get a medal at all.”

I thought this was an interesting example of how the best outcomes can come from the not-so-best situations.

Similar to kindness, sometimes the best way to cure negativity is making the most and seeking out the best in a sour situation.

Be kind to others and show gratitude, and both will directly aid to your happiness 🙂
