Kindness Prevails: Day 38

Today’s sentiments are inspired by the fact that I spent the day running around New Orleans with my mom and sister doing last minute Christmas shopping.

Classic.

Shopping around the holidays is insane. If you’re anything like me, last minute always turns out to be the perfect time to round up gifts. Often this can turn out to be a pretty bad idea.

Malls are filled with frantic and stressed holiday shoppers, but more importantly patient and friendly retail workers and employees who deserve some recognition.

I was blown away by how friendly and kind every employee was to us today, despite the crowds and holiday-shopper stress. So, I wanted to take the opportunity to recognize every employee during the holidays who has to deal with frantic and sometimes difficult costumers, and for doing it all with a smile on their face and a patient attitude. It makes the process a whole lot more positive, thank you!

On the other hand, if you’re a customer, don’t forget to say thank you to kind employees to make their days a little easier and make their holiday season a little brighter.

Happy shopping!
