Kindness Prevails: Day 32

This is awesome.

A fellow Boston University student created a video for a Film & Television class starring a friendly homeless man, ‘Freddy’, who lives around campus.

Blake Smith, the student who created the video said “After filming this video for my class I paid Freddy a small amount for his role. He was overjoyed and told me that the money I gave him meant he could go back to the shelter for that day and he didn’t have to sit outside in the cold.”

Smith then created a “GoFundMe” page to raise money for Freddy to give to him as a Christmas gift. The page has raised $690 in just 8 days.

One person’s kind heart triggered many others’ kind donations and will keep Freddy warm for the Winter, and hopefully help him out in many other ways.
